Paleo Magic Bars & Drop Ins

My random act of kindness for today was actually performed on Sunday when I ventured over to my friend’s house for a little football watching and grub.  It was funny because I actually planned to stop by their house all weekend and bring over some Paleo Magic Bars.  (Side note: This blog post inspired me to randomly stop by their house.) Anyways, the surprise ended up being a planned visit however, when I got caught up texting with my friend on Saturday night.

This is the only picture that I snapped of my visit, which is kind of lame. I know.  Also, full disclosure, my Paleo Magic Bars did not turn out as planned.  I’ve made them twice before and they were AMAZING, but this time, I used coconut flour instead of almond flour and it was a total fail.  The bars turned into magic bark. Haha.  But, they still tasted good!  If you want to make the bars, learn a lesson from me and follow the directions!  ALMOND FLOUR!

This completes #22 Do something to become a better friend to someone.

Other 31 Random Acts conducted (that I know about!):

  • Erica donated 20 half marathon medals to Medals for Meddle (they give them to sick children!)
  • My sister wrote a note to someone who inspires her (she is doing this every day in October)
  • My mom participated in a food drive!
  • The Kitch Witch cooked and delivered meals to those impacted by the floods in Colorado

Thank you for your RAK love!

  4. I’m really impressed with your writing skills as well
as with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself?

Either way keep up the excellent quality writing, it’s rare to
see a nice blog like this one today.
